Superstar adds natural talent to young production in role of Luke Skywalker

Miles put his considerable theatrical abilities to work during the production of Short Wars.

Of all our actors, it was Miles who was most likely to know his lines without looking at a script.

If another actor missed a cue or wasn't following the spirit of the original Star Wars film, it was likely Miles who noticed first.

This soon-to-be-superstar graced the stage and managed to balance Luke's farm-boy naivety with the skill of a hero who would one day destroy the Death Star and restore hope to the Rebellion.

Says director Wade, "Several times in the film you will notice Miles' lips moving. That's because
he knew the lines. We decided to dub the film with the actors' voices from the original film, but if
we had decided to have the kids read the dialogue, Miles would have been ready for action."
