A multi-talented young man acts out as Rebel Captain and Stormtrooper

Gus took on several roles for our short film and brought an honesty and integrity to each. As the ill-fated Captain Antilles he faces the fearsome Lord Vader during the seizure of the embattled starcruiser Tantive IV.

One of the most crowd-pleasing moments of the film is the part where Antilles is throttled by Vader during the Empire's search for the stolen data plans. Gus gave Antilles a defiant courage that gives the Rebellion credibility and sympathy in the film's opening moments.

As a stormtrooper, Gus took part in many of the film's demanding chase scenes, including the assault on the Blockade Runner and the Death Star escape scenes. Known for his speed, Gus could have easily outrun most of his castmates had stage managers not reminded him that the rebels must, in the end, be allowed to escape.

Gus is one of our film's most prolific players, appearing in many scenes under many different guises. He is certainly one of Short Wars' bright stars.
