Small actors, big expectations
Little things mean a lot

Short Wars would not have been possible without the dedication and talent of its young cast. They were its inspiration and its driving Force.

Ranging in age from two to eight, our cast didn't really know what to expect when they reported to the stage at their grade school on a rainy day in May. They were up for the adventure, however. Especially when they saw the costumes, the lightsabers and, of course, the spaceships.

The cast amazed us with their ability to get it right. What could have been a disaster came together magically during the four hours we had to complete principal photography.

Our short film was created on a shoestring budget and with a tight deadline, but the actors had a level of seriousness, and a sense of fun, that made the four hours of filming go by quickly. The producers wish to thank the cast for their time and effort in producing a short film that we will never forget.
